About Me:
Dr. Saint Kizito Omala is a PhD holder in Statistics and currently serves in the Department of Statistical Methods and Actuarial Science at Makerere University. A dedicated family man, he is also a proud father of three. With extensive experience in secondary and higher education, as well as educational assessments, he has provided technical support to one of Uganda’s national examinations boards. Additionally, he has served as Board Secretary for a local NGO.
His passion for education is inspired by Luigi Giussani’s charism, emphasizing the development of the whole person. His research interests include the application of impact evaluation methodologies across various development sectors and the use of modern psychometrics, in collaboration with policymakers, multinational organizations, and international scholars.
